Zeno GUI Supports the same platforms as Gunbot including: Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, so you can use Zeno GUI along-side Gunbot on your operating system of choice by following the steps below.

SECTION #1
PICK MAC, LINUX or WINDOWS

Recommended Apps:

  • Peazip is a zip (unarchiver) utility. Peazip is open source, free and works with mac, windows and linux (use minimal / portable version if you don’t want to install an exe)
  • Notepad ++ is an advanced (multi-format) code editor. Notepad++ is open source, free and has a portable version. NOTE: Very important when editing config.js to manually input API and secret (which is required for Zeno GUI to  launch Gunbot – directly from the GUI)

Install Zeno GUI on Windows
Steps #1-3 Downloading and Installing

Step 1 – Download Zeno GUI from here https://github.com/zenocrypto/zeno-gui/releases

Download Gunbot: https://github.com/GuntharDeNiro/BTCT/releases and follow instructions on Install Gunbot Guide CLICK HERE

Step 2 – Unzip the Zeno GUI zip file then drag all the Zeno GUI files (take the files out of a folder if it created one when extracting) and paste all the zeno files, directly into the Gunbot folder (see picture below in step 5 showing folders – right where the Gunbot, Gunthy and other Gunbot configuraton files are located). NOTE: It’s very imporatant you put the Zeno GUI files directly in the Gunbot folder where all the gunbot executable files are, or you’ll have issues getting Zeno GUI working.
Pro Tip: if you right click and create shortcuts on your Desktop for Gunbot and Gunthy GUI, then you don’t have to navigate into the Gunbot folders to start Zeno GUI evertime.

Step 3 – use Zeno GUI telegram bot to create and download your licence file – Open Telegram, search @Zeno_GUI_Bot and start a conversation using /start command, in the text input field at the bottom of the Telegram Window.

Step #4 – Licence File install

Install Zeno GUI - Zeno GUI Telegram Menu - Zeno GUI API Keys
Install Zeno GUI – Zeno GUI Telegram Menu – Zeno GUI API Keys
  1. Click  API Keys
  2. Copy and paste API Key (press enter after)
  3. Click the name of the exchange – Zeno Telegram bot will post a message with all the exchanges – click the exchange that your API key belongs to
  4. Select the version of Zeno GUI to Generate and Download Licence File ie: Zeno GUI v1.41 – IMPORTANT!! It is important that you select the correct Zeno GUI version when Generate the correct licence file version (with Zeno Bot in Telegram) for the Zeno GUI version you have downloaded or the Licence file will not load correctly and When trying to start Zeno GUI will post an error…If you get a licence file error go back to the bot and re-download the correct licence file (ensuring you click the version that is the same as the version of Zeno GUI which you downloaded)
  5. Click Download to download Zeno GUI licence fileIMPORTANT!! Make sure you drag the licence file into the Gunbot folder along with all the Gunbot config files or it won’t load correctly (If you get a licence file error you either have downloaded the wrong version of the licence file for your version of Zeno GUI, or you’ve put the licence file in the wrong folder.

Step #5 – Gunbot API Keys in Config.js

Install Zeno GUI - Gunbot config.js API Keys | Zeno GUI Gunbot start / stop
Install Zeno GUI – Gunbot config.js API Keys | Zeno GUI Gunbot start / stop

Step 5 – Use Notepad++ to open config.js (see above recommended apps) When you put API keys in Gunthy GUI and click save (localhost:5000 on your browser) you’d think it would inject your API keys into the config.js but it doesn’t…that means manually inputting the API Key and Secret into config.js is required to enable Starting / Stopping Gunbot from Zeno GUI using the big red/green buttons – to do this simply navigate to the Gunbot config.js file and open it inside Notepad++, then on the top Notepad++ toolbar use search and type in the name of your Exchange (this will search the code for the exchange name) there will be a couple search results… click next until you find the exchange name with API key fields below it (API master, API Secret, etc). You can also scroll to find it…but it’s far down somewhere near the bottom NOTE: Make sure you edit the Gunbot config.js and not config.json (they are different and although they look the same typing sttings into config.json will NOT work). Open the document where you saved your exchange Public API Key and Secrets (used with Gunbot – or if you have it saved in Gunthy GUI just open Gunthy GUI (localhost:5000 in your browser after GUI is started) to copy the keys onto a notepad or something, then close down the GUI and resume installing Zeno GUI using the instructions here). Manually copy / paste the API Key and secret TWICE into both sets of field below the exchange name! Once into the master key and secret, and a second time into normal key and secret fields (it’s important each api and secret is copied twice) for each exchange tou use Gunbot with in the config.js file

Other Configuration

Configure Zeno GUI with custom Gunbot Trade strategies, with individual pair overrides or grouped overrides and more.

Group Overrides

Install Zeno GUI – Zeno GUI Config – Zeno GUI Group Overrides

Zeno GUI Overrides are useful for configuring changes across multiple altcoin pairs, rather then configuring the same overrides on each individual pair, thus saving time. For example on Bittrex, the minimum trade amount for BTC is 0.001BTC, while ETH pairs have a higher Minimum around 0.004ETH…therefore if you want to trade both BTC and ETH pairs, and in order to meet the ETH minimum trade amount (without group overrides), you would have to input 0.004 which for your configured BTC pairs would then trade 0.004BTC and for your ETH pairs 0.004ETH…You may only want to increase the min on your ETH pairs and not on your BTC pairs, this is where ZENO GUI Group overrides come in, allowing you to set a group override to increase MIN_VOLUME_TO_SELL and MIN_VOLUME_TO_BUY, to the exchange minimum for all your ETH pairs, without effecting the trade amounts for your BTC pairs.
